Our Shop
Buckaroo Custom Boots boot shop is located outside of any city limits, in the cattle country of North Central Texas.
About an hour north of Ft Worth and the Cowtown Stockyards, you'll find the shop. A small shop. Just be enough. Reflecting Texas and what it means to be in Texas.
On the outside, a small Alamo Mission shaped building with an adjoining livery stable bunk house. Inside, you'll find near century old boot making equipment alongside modern tools and an atmosphere flooded with boot making, cowboys, cowgirls, and leather. Everything a Bespoke boot shop should have!
"Bespoke Made"
Our boots are Bespoke measured, designed and built to fit the foot that wears it, fully custom fitted to each foot.
Most designs are available with the overall fit and comfort in mind. We make each pair with a personal pair of boot forms, called "lasts". Most toe shapes are available; most heel heights and styles of boot can be had according to your wants and needs.
Anything from basic, 16 1/2" tall boots plus the heel height, plain cowhide tops with rough out/suede foot (vamps) to fancy fully in-layed and over-layed floral tops or fully hand carved/tooled tops with exotic skin foot/vamps can be had according to your wants, needs or budget.
Regardless of price or design, all our boots are fully natural leather made. With the exception of wood pegging of the soles, a steel arch support, nylon thread and rubber heel caps on the bottom. Fully hand in-seamed welt into the leather in-sole and stacked leather heels regardless. From the leather insole through the finished outsole and leather heels, each boot is made the way Cowboy and Cowgirl were made until the 1980's.
Even the fancy top stitching in the boot tops, if you desire it, is made one stitch at a time, by a person at a single stitch sewing machine. Some done on a Singer Sewing machine from the 1940's and welt (the stitching you see when you look down on your boots where the sole is around the front and toe area of the finished boot) sewn on a curved needle machine from 1929.
Our Basic Boots are going to fit you better than any shoe has ever fit your feet. Even if you require special fitting because of wear and tear on your feet and have never been able to wear boots and be comfortable in them.
